Laurie grew up on the Iron Range in Mountain Iron, Minnesota. She spent much of her teenage years involved in her grandmother’s church and decided early on that she always wanted to be serving God within the church. She’s served in many roles at different churches since then. Laurie has been involved with serving at Calvary since 2012, and been on staff since 2015. Laurie’s love language is acts of service, and she finds much satisfaction in serving others as much as she possibly can.
Laurie is married to Jeff and they have two grown children, Adrianna and Joshua. Jeff and Laurie moved to Saint Cloud in 1995 when they got married, and the Bovitz family has been at Calvary since 2008. In Laurie’s spare time she loves to travel (especially cruising), spending time on or near water, reading, crocheting, doing jigsaw puzzles, hanging out with their pups, and being with her family whenever she can.
